Musing Mondays (October 07)

My Musing:

A lot of book related pages on Facebook and elsewhere on the web are very entertaining. I like following them and having various book related things thrown into my face every now and then. One of the most entertaining book blogs I read is the Barnes & Noble blog. I like their posts because they are short, they talk of good books, and they talk about a lot of books that I haven’t heard of, this keeps my appetite up.

In other news, my most favourite person just finished his Masters degree with a DISTINCTION, no less! I’m so proud; Congratulations V.

AND, this is my 200th post on this blog *ta-da*

Musing Mondays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…

Describe one of your reading habits.
Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!
Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it.
Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!
Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!

  1. Congrats on your 200th post! I love the barnes and noble site for new releases. It’s more comprehensive than something from just one publisher and helps me find out about books early enough to request ARCs for my favorites. Given that, I’ll definitely be checking out their blog 🙂

  2. I have never tried the Barnes and Noble blog, we don’t have them in the UK but I know of them so I will have to look at that. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by my blog and not only comment but also follow me! You have a new follower in me too!

  3. Congrats on your 200th post and to your most favorite person for finishing his Masters with a Distinction!!! Lots of happy news in this post! 😀

I”m definitely going to have to give the Barnes & Noble blog a try. Have you signed up for the bi-weekly newsletters from Shelf Awareness?
