My teaser:
“I’m nothing but a waste of air. I’m not capable of having friends or even having a conversation with someone. I’m stupid and I don’t even deserve to live. All I do is worry about everything anyway, so my being on this planet is pointless. I hae myself even more than everyone else hates me; I just can’t laugh at myself the way others probably do behind my back because I don’t find myself as funny as they do.“
From (12% Inkwater Press 2014) of My Life in a Nutshell: A Novel.
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Enjoy!
Not the most uplifting of teasers. Are you enjoying the read?
So far… this man did manage to meet a little schoolgirl with another set of her own problems.
Wow, it definitely doesn’t sound like an uplifting story. I hope you’re enjoying it, but I don’t think I would as much.

Well this man did manage to meet a little schoolgirl with another set of her own problems. But I believe it will be an uplifting read by the end. Thanks for the visit!
Thanks for sharing this dramatic teaser. Love it! 🙂 And thanks for visiting my Teaser Tuesday 🙂
wow. I just want to buy that character some ice cream lol. happy reading 🙂
Ouch! That person sounds seriously depressed 😦
Wow sad for sure. No one should feel that way. Hope you are enjoying it. Thanks for stopping by my site. 🙂
I read the synopsis – as this teaser sounds all to familiar to me. I hope that girl can change his outlook on life
May no one find familiarity here…
When I was at the lowest point of my depression, and suicidal, this was exactly how I was feeling. I am glad that this book deals with that and his way of coming through it.
I am totally interested now with that quote!

Mmm, how sad that anyone should ever think like that!
